Taitien Electronics has announced its new TG series of temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs) capable of offering CMOS/PECL output frequencies up to 160MHz. TG series are particularly useful in telecom applications such as Gateway, SONET/SDH systems, instrumentation, 10 gigabit ethernet and digital wireless reference.
The frequency stability of TG series is ±1.0 ppm within its operating temperature ranging from -40° to +85°C. Over a one-year period, frequency stability is at ±0.5 ppm. Voltage rating is at 3.3V ±5% @ 60mA. TG series are available in a 20 x 13 mm surface mount package for automated assembly.
It is recognized that wider frequency range and lower phase noise are two important features in the high frequency applications. TG series not only offer output frequency up to 160MHz, they also deliver excellent phase noise performance with characteristics of -140dBc/Hz at a 1kHz offset. In conclusion, TG series are the optimal choice for high frequency applications. TG series combine the advantages of high frequency, high stability, low power consumption, and extremely low phase noise.
